Baxter, a University of Texas commit ran for 274 yards on 26 carries, highlighted by a pair of long second half touchdown runs as Edgewater (FL) defeated Don Bosco Prep, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, 34-10, in Orlando.

Edgewater, which never trailed, pulled away midway through the third quarter when Baxter took a handoff outside the right tackle, broke two tackles, then was off to the races for a 58-yard touchdown that made it 27-10. Baxter, considered a top 50 prospect in the country, later added a 96-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
