Don Bosco lost another tough one Saturday in Caven Point, falling to St. Peter’s Prep on a late 21-yard touchdown run from Ethan Rodriguez with 2:47 left, just one play after allowing a 28-yard completion on a 4th-and-19. The loss marked Don Bosco’s second one-score defeat against SFC United Red competition, as the Ironmen also fell to Bergen Catholic, 23-17, earlier this season. Against St. Peter’s Prep, both Jalen Berger and Kyle Monangai had big performances, with Berger rushing 15 times for 101 yards and adding 6-yard touchdown reception and Monangai finishing with 15 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown. The Ironmen registered two INTs, courtesy of Nick Alvarado and Constantino Borrelli.
